innovative mathematics digital curriculum, Math
Buddies, at a conference for mathematics teachers – AME-SMS Conference 2013.

Jointly organised by the Association of Mathematics
Educators (AME) and the Singapore Mathematical Society (SMS), the one-day
conference was held on 6th June 2013 at NUS High School of
Mathematics and Science. Featuring speakers from Singapore, the UK, Australia and Japan, the session was attended by 649 mathematics
educators from Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia.

Held for the second year running, this year’s conference was
themed “Learning Experiences in Mathematics” and featured lectures and talks
centred on the salient strategies and methods to enhance the teaching and
learning of mathematics. With its innovative ICT-integrated approach, MC
Online’s Math Buddies was a key
exhibit at the conference, drawing the attention of many educators, who were
impressed by its fun and engaging maths curriculum.
